  • Dad's Baby!

My wife and I inherited our car before the fact. As you can imagine, this is the best of both worlds. We still have my father and we can continue to bring his car back to original! Dad just loves the fact that we are enjoying his car.

New Pictures!!! Oct. 6, 2008! Happy Birthday Dad!

It is nice to keep it in the family. Did your father buy it new? It appears to be a tastefully modified Packard Hawk in good condition. I wish you much enjoyment with it.

Thanks for the comments Gary. Dad was the 3rd owner that we know of. He found it at the end of 2000 in Vegas. It needed painted and put back together. Dad wanted to use it as a daily driver so a few things were changed to make it more practical. Trust me, we love her!

Oh my does your Hawk bring back memories!! Before the Verrazano-Narrows bridge was built, we had to take a ferry from Staten Island to Long Island when my family visited my aunt & uncle. Whenever we went & got off the ferry there was a traffic circle with brick apartments around it & always I saw this beautiful white Packard Hawk parked there. Sort of love at first sight in a way. It put a soft spot in my heart for that car ever since. Thanks for sharing with us.

            Beautiful car...

And to think, our Sonic closed a couple weeks ago. No more walking across the parking lot at work and getting lunch. [B)]

How do you order when most of you back into a drive-in?

Thanks for the nice comments. We put almost 1700 miles on her this year!

Gary, No one sits in their car. We just walk up to the order board and press the little red button! Maybe they should call it "Sonic Back-In!"
