  • Speed Channel and Studebaker Connection

The son of one of our members sent a bit into the Speed Channel's Car Crazy and it got put on the air. There is a Studebaker connection here. A good little piece I thought.

Yes, indeed: Good philosophy in there, Joe. Thanks for the post. BP
We've got to quit saying, "How stupid can you be?" Too many people are taking it as a challenge.

I told the son's dad that I had similar experience with my son, also Matt. I think one of the best things we ever did was to drive back and forth to Raleigh almost everyday for an entire summer to work on a 2R6 that I had purchased. Under the direction of the friend where the truck was located Matt really became a mechanic. That was a great summer and brought us much closer together. He was 15 then and has a '58 Silver Hawk sitting at my place patiently waiting his loving touch. He races his BMW M3 at Maxton doing much of his own modifications.
Yep, Studes were good for us!
