  • Body / Glass: Will a '50 Champion hood fit a '51 (Champion or Commander)?

I know the '50 models are pretty much a "one year only" as far as a lot of parts go, but the '50 Champion hood sure looks a lot like a '51 hood. Does anyone know if they will swap? Thanks.

The length will match, but not sure about the front end latching etc. The Hood ornaments will need changing and possibly the holes for same.

Like mentioned I'm not sure about the 51 grill working but I do know that 51 champion front fenders 50 champion grill and 50 champion hood all just bolts up.

yes. It will work. However, we all know the the 1951 and 1950 front fenders are different.

The 1950 Commander fenders are different.
1950 and 1951 Champion fenders were the same but it maybe that the inner fenders were not.

No, sorry. 51 fenders are different from 50 Champion fenders. The wheel well opening is different length and different spacing between the two because the wheel base is different and the suspension is different.
