Today was the annual Business meeting for the Sequoia chapter here in San Francisco , California bay area since we are one of the largest chapters we had about 25 people show up and voice their opinion and help elect new officers, and fill the 2015 calendar. I took a picture of 6 members most people in the Studebaker world know rather well and between them there is over 200 total years in the club between them. starting with Fred and Linda Fox members from day one in 1968, Carl and Herman Thom's member since early 70's Diane Glew and Gay Wittenberg both member since the mid 70's and my self not pictures since I was taking the picture a member on and off since 1968, it is people like these that keep the club going forward. Carl has taken the job of President for the 2nd or 3rd time taking over from me the past president for my 2nd time, all have been officers at one time or another with Fred as the treasure since day one, thanks people for your good work and keeping Studebaker club alive in the San Francisco bay area, right now our chapter is at 150 members.

I think the lady's T-shirt went through the washing machine too many times, as it once proclaimed "I love CASO's". :)

In all seriousness, thanks to all of you that give your time to the club functions and to the club magazine. Without you, there wouldn't be a SDC.

Hi Bob,
thanks for the picture. I know all of them.

Committed Studebaker people with a life long passion. It doesn't get any better.

For those who may not know who's who in that picture, they are as follows, left to right:

Gay Wittenberg, Herman Thoms, Diane Glew, Carl Thoms, Fred Fox, and Linda Fox.
As was stated, every one a salt-of-the-earth, dedicated Studebaker person through-and-through, of long standing. :!!: BP

I tried to contact the Sequoia chapter a year ago, and received no response. Mine I assume was in that chapter at one point, and had a Sequoia sticker on one of the spare windows.

That was my first chapter. I miss Diane and Gay and the Thoms brothers. It was the perfect place to be when owning your first Studebaker. :) I never met the Foxes that I can remember.

Long Island? The Sequoia Chapter is the Northern half of California, minus Sacramento and environs.
