Worth every penny! These parts are a good alternative for someone who can't afford to spend to have all of the die-cast belt line mouldings reworked on, say, a 1955 Speedster. Polished stainless steel looks as good or better than a so-so chrome plate job....and lasts forever.

I believe I all most all the clips used in good condition, except the two on the bend at door. I bought two new ones here. Not sure the are right. I can check tomorrow if you are interested.

Do you still have this SS trim? I'm looking for the belt line trim that goes under the windshield, 3 pieces that straddle the windshield wiper posts. I have a K coupe that used pot metal for those parts, I understand that in '55 (and later) those parts were SS.

If that trim is gone how about this. 11 1955 Studebaker Commander (http://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/cto/4801657717.html)

Depends on whether it's a deluxe or regal. I think the deluxe used stainless. My regal is pot metal under the windshield.

No Dave. It depends whether it's a coupe or a HT. All '55 coupes (and ONLY '55 coupes) had stainless beltline moldings. All others, coupes and HT's, '53-61 (if the car had beltline moldings, some did not) had pot metal .
Someone correct me if I am wrong. I won't argue.

I do have it, but it's for a C body. I won't break up the set. Thanks, Tex

Thanks, Jerry and Jimmijim. I have a little shed full of trim and walnuts (damn squirrels). I have the coupe set and a couple of HT sets, but haven't eyed 'em in a few years.. If I get to retire soon, I'm either gonna upgrade my HT or find a coupe to build.
