Somewhere, I have a picture of a 50 or 51 like that from the Gettysburg meet in 1980. It had been used as a parade car and was in need of some attention.

Looks like it steers from the rear?

Perhaps this. I took this at Gettysburg '80. It's a '50 Champion and road legal. Still owned and utilized by the Jaffa Clown Group of the Jaffa Shrine in Altoona, PA.

Now THAT"S a Clown Car if I ever saw one! That would be cool if they made it so you could lock the steering on one end and drive it at the other and vice versa like a Locomotive or Ferry Boat.

Again, merely mimicking Studebaker's "forward thinking" of over a century ago. 1909 electric "Peg", at the Swigart Museum, Huntingdon, PA., also home of the one original Tucker prototype.

And, Rich, Peg, and her sister are the very original clown cars.

                  [/QUOTE]

That's the one I had in mind. I thought at the time they were looking for some parts to repair/upgrade something at the time.

Yes! They would still like to install an automatic transmission (it's used almost exclusively in parades).

Why hasn't anyone put two Starlight coupe rear-sections together???? Photoshop, anyone?

EDIT: OOPS. Now I know why. There would be no doors!
