That would be a fun little bus. Expensive, but fun...

Have you got any pictures/more info?

A '49 would look pretty much like mine, BTW.

There was one like Dave's in the South Bend area but I did not ride on it. I remember when the 56 ford busses were new....I was born in 48. That really short one is very cool! If I could figure out what to do with it I'd want it!

Make a cool ice cream truck or snack truck at car events.

It could be a traveling Ambassador for the SDC! Kind of like the Hemmings trucks that travel to the major swap meets! How could someone walk past this!! <G>

I had those exact thoughts when I first saw mine.
                    Fear not- plans ARE afoot...

                    Same song- different verse.
The trouble with mine is- as an RV- it's now got very few seats.
Hence the reason a 'twin' (and the applicable license) would be fun to have around.

On both of these notes- at this point all I can/will say is this~
in the very near future a very interesting presentation will be made to your SDC board members.
                    Stay tuned.

Now that is a true SUV.. Studebaker Universallyloved Vehicle! Many ideas for use won't work, including an RV, but what if the suspension was softened, and a plush limo type interior installed? It could even be a decent daily driver with the right mods.. preferably still Studebaker powered of course, (maybe Studebaker electric?) but with this, whatever. Keep it going! (wonder how this could be done with a kickstarter campaign?)
