Is there a complete list of Harold E. Churchill Award winners somewhere, please? A search here and at google doesn't get it.

Also, is there an SDC archive of such things, such as a list of SDC Presidents, TW editors and dates, etc.??? Thanks.

John, the book you need is the most recent Studebaker Inside Facts manual, written and published by Larry Swanson:

I don't believe he has done a new one since that 2008 edition shown above. It runs to 272 pages and is packed with all sorts of information like that. Contact Larry Swanson through Turning Wheels for particulars. BP

The Inside Facts book is in need of an update. Is there someone who has the time, talent, and computer software to go through the book and update things like chapter lists, vendor names and addresses, etc. The bylaws, judging policies, and other sections are available as Word files. The SDC Board is currently tracking down the computer files used for the 2008 edition. The book probably needs to be created in Microsoft Publisher or other software capable of handling a book of 250-300 pages. Familiarity with design, layout, and graphic software is a requirement, but you don't need to be an artist. This is a task that will take a lot of work, but it needs doing. Any volunteers with time on their hands? Anyone want to bid on it as a paid task?

The Churchill Awards winners for 1981-2008 are in the mentioned "Inside Facts" book. The newer ones could be gotten from Turning Wheels or perhaps directly from Larry S., Publications Director.
The other things that you ask about, and MUCH more, is in the Inside Facts. As mentioned, it only goes to 2008 and should be updated.

I have the 2008 Inside Facts and I am convinced that there really isn't anything in there that cannot be made available as PDF downloads from the SDC website. Much of what's printed is potentially outdated by the time it reaches someone's mailbox (chapter listings, SDC contacts, etc.). My personal opinion is that the club should save a huge chunk of change and make everything in the Inside Facts available online where users can easily download the pieces of info they want whenever they want it.

Of course, someone will still need to do the set-up (organize, design and create the various PDF's) just as Gary Ash noted.

As Gary wrote, the 81-08 list is in the 08 Inside Facts (I erroneously missed seeing it when I first looked through my copy). Here is a scan of that page:

Thank you ALL! Sorry about the delayed acknowledgement--I've been away. Especially to BShaw; that was specifically what I'd asked for.

I think in this day and age an online archive of club info, such as may be presented in the cited outdated book would be a good "investment" for the organization. As a point of interest, perhaps, all my google searches produced next to nothing regarding the Churchill award. And, I'd twisted it every way imaginable in the process. We NEED anything related to Studebakers, even remotely, to bring up the Club, inho. Thanks, again.
