A happy idiot is still happy.
Like looking at three girls you had met and settled on the wrong one after drinking!!! I'm the idiot in the rumble seat.
A rumble seat is like high heels and a short skirt. Now I have a "A" Ford>>??!!! I hope we don't fight a lot.

I'm sure we've all had that "What have I done?" question come up at one time or another. I've seen your Hawk a few times, would not mind meeting the others one of these days.

As long as you keep the Studes that Ford is OK ;)

One of our chapter members has a Model A coupe and another has a Dodge touring car. It's all good unless they want to talk about them. ;)
Seriously, I like all old cars, but I like the Studebakers Drivers Club and the friends I have made best. Enjoy your rumble seat. :)

Well...I suppose you could say, A happy idiot is still an idiot.:(

However, since you have been able to acquire a "good deal" on a Model A...I think you are automatically disqualified as an "idiot.":)

You can't beat a Model A, easy to work on, plenty of parts available and they will go, especially when compared the 1928 Erskine I once owned (what a dog that was, too bad Studebaker didn't come out with a car like the Plymouth instead of the Erskine, it might have helped them better weather the depression).

I too am not totally loyal to studebaker, I have a '37 buick I was looking for a nice pre-war stude but the price was out of my range.
I also just sold my '63 plymouth to someone that owned the car ten years back
