Ed... What time do you normally get to the museum? I'd be interested in going but I'd be coming from the Detroit area...

John thanks for the heads up . I did see that in the Avanti magazine will see if I feel like heading back for that even though its only 80is miles away I have to get started around 5 am because of the time change. Should have mentioned our Avanti may not make the So Bend trip since its pictures will be taken for Muscle Car Review . Also a nice Stude feature at the Midwest Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals in November . The pics may happen Thursday depending on weather . Ed

I guess someone will have to light a fire to a pile of paper around back, right? :D

Unfortunately, the Building 84 tour Saturday is only open to Michiana Club members. We realized they never got to attend any of the past tours because they were always working the local and international meets. We're working on monthly tours for next year which will be bigger and better. There is another event Saturday which may be of interest, a tour of the John M. Studebaker Building which is free and last I heard still had tickets available. I believe this is the first time this building has been toured. Contact http://circa1910sightssoundssweetjmsbuilding.evenrbrite.com. Enjoy your trip here and if you wish to pm me your phone number I can contact you if there does happen to be any extra spaces available. Thanks, Tim

Ed does a fantastic job organizing this trip each year, and is one of my favorite Stude events each year. Ed puts a lot of work into pulling this off each year for the enjoyment of others (Me!!)
Worst part of the day is getting from my house in the northern suburbs of Chicago to Ed's place - requires a trip right through the middle of Chicago, never a fun thing in a 50 year old car! May take the easy way out this year and take my daily driver.

Thanks for understanding. I always have a blast with everyone. I can't seem to pull up the J.M.S. Building tour on my computer but you can call Historic Preservation Commission at 574-235-9798 for more info and there was also an article in today's South Bend Tribune. Tim

Thanks Ed! I don't know if you could have squeezed anymore activities into one day. We also got to see the Avanti house, drove by the Administration building, and went inside Tippecanoe Place too.
