If you are talking about the bodies only, I don't think there are any differences. All the differencies are in the bolt on stuff, ie. trim and options vs standard equipment.

Not a Stude expert like some of the guys and gals on here are, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn once.

I've never stayed at a Holiday Inn, but that said, Jerry's about summed it up! The "C" bodies were the same save for trim inside and out. Some early Commanders would have had a 224 cu.in. engine whereas the Speedsters and Presidents all had a 259. The Speedsters ( a late-year development) had a different dash than the others.

No deceptive flags to prove I'm patriotic - no biblical BS to impress - just ME and Studebakers - as it should be.

Brad; the Exterior trim differences you mention are all simple "bolt on" the Champion, Commander President coupes and Hardtops really only have the nameplates and the V-8 or V-S changed.

Of course the President K5/C5 Interior was quite special, the best of everything except leather.

The President Speedster K7 of course only came in a Hardtop, and it was one of the very few with standard LEATHER, the ONLY model I know of that Studebaker ever built that came fully loaded! The only option other than color was the Transmission Overdrive option. And even the color was standard for the first few months, they only came in Lemon/Lime! You didn't even have to order exhaust extensions, everything all STANDARD incl. full power. [:0]

Now the Speedster had many exterior trim and standard accessory differences from the President, but there is no sense trying to list them all, because there are plenty of good pics on the Internet and even a Speedster website you can see for yourself!

Look in the '55 body parts catalog, it should list everything.

I can't find the link on the SDC website, but a Google search found some good pic's of a nice slightly modified Arizona car, I think it's Chuck Collins' site.

Just ignore the wrong Wheels, trunk carpeting and Exhaust Extentions!
