Engine: 1949 Vacuum wiper hose questions

Does anyone know the thread size of the vacuum fittings on the fuel pump/vacuum pump for the old sixes? I put the new fuel pump on and now don't know what size hose connections to get.


Also, is anyone familiar with how the two hoses were routed for the vacuum wiper system? This car does not seem to have a vacuum tank. I would think the suction line from the pump would just go to the wiper, but where did the other one go?

Most vacuum wipers use 1/4 inch vacuum hose with a 1/8th pipe thread on the fitting. The double action fuel pumps have a fitting that goes to manifold vacuum and the other line goes to the wiper motor. Bud
