Can I ask? Was there any rust repair on the car? Also are the brakes updated to handle the V8? It sure is PURTY!

.....There were "only" 3 areas that required rust repair: both rear lower quarters panels had each a "quarter size" rust-through that was repaired by the shop, and behind the passenger hinge post, another quarter sized hole that was dug out by me and rust-killed then filled. Everything else was simply surface rust......Oh - just remembered.... the battery tray was rusted out and replaced with HD NOS inner apron. Both front fenders were completely rust free... and I'm sure original. (BTW-I have a spare AZ pair FS) If you're interested, I have pics of the rust "before" when the car was dis-assembled and sent to shop.....

I'm one of those that like stock (obviously). This car came from the factory with the OHV 6. After finding 7 cracks in the cylinder head, I chose not to chase the head or try and find another. I had been "driving" a 1963 Cruiser that had 69K miles on it through the winters up here in Mass with snow tires (FS !). It supplied the 289, OD tranny, brakes, HH, 3.31 R/A, and all the needs for the 6 to 8 swap... The car has the later (rear) Buick/Olds front coil springs.
