Good start... keep working on it. It is something that I have never had to courage (or equipment) to try!

And some photos too:
Friday, on my way to the meet, I stopped at the Frostop drive-in at Taylors Falls, Minnesota, for lunch before crossing the St. Croix River into Wisconsin.

Saturday morning at the Super 8 motel down the road from the meet.

Saturday afternoon on my way home, I stopped at a St. Croix River valley scenic overlook just outside of Taylors Falls, MN.

And this is what I saw from the overlook, plus a total of 8 bald eagles flying over!

Thanks Brent,

This was nice to watch. Being at my vendor spot (and you caught me unloading parts in the early parts! OMG....) I didn't get a lot of time to look at the cars at the meet.

Always like "Steely Dan" too. Remember that from my HS days.

Very nice Brent, and [B]glad there were no Studebakers harmed in the filming[/B/!

That's because he didn't use a drone to do any aerial shots! As I mentioned on a previous post a couple of weeks ago, someone at a car show used one to film a vintage car event where it hit a tree and crashed, narrowly missing a '32 Ford and its owner.

Thanks Brent. Not quite like being there but close and works as I couldn't make it. Would way more have been there then where I was at. You know what they say[ If you put a shorter tail pipe on a glass pack you get more bark] now I have to watch it if I pass gas.

Good job Brent, I saw Pete Wendt and Jim Pepper along with a bunch of real nice cars. Sure were a lot of turquoise Avanti's, too bad my brother couldn't make it with his. Keep up the good work, videoing and fixing the Studes. Bill

Thank you all for the kind words. I know I was jerky with the camera and could have done much better, guess I just need more practice. This was my first attempt at editing and found it to be enjoyable.
It was nice to see the many forum members there and sorry others could not be there.

Cheerio,
Brent

Thanks for the video Brent. We had talked about going, but other things got in the way. On the good side, the vid shows us what we missed and on the bad side the vid shows us what we missed......

Quite a show. I appreciate how you moved slowly enough to let me see the cars, but didn't dwell too long on any one vehicle. Nice over view of the meet.

I have to ask you Brent, what did you use to do the actual video? That is something all meets could easily do, and if you used a cell phone or video camera, maybe some of us could do the same at whatever meet we are attending. Still pics are great, but a video like you did is fantastic. Bill

Hi Bill, Wisconsin misses you! ;) It was beautiful there that weekend.
As for my camera, it is a Sony HD Handycam (HDR-CX230 to be precise). I think I paid about $250 for it last year. It is very small as it fits in the palm of my hand and can also be used as a still camera with 8.9 mega pixel. I have used it very little and would benefit from reading the manual as it has features like 'SteadyShot' which I should have used when recording this video but have never tried it. The price has probably come down since I purchased mine or maybe a new model has taken it's place, but I think it is a very nice video camera.
