I would start by looking at what SI is charging for your items. Their catalog has a part number listing in the back.

You may want to get in touch with Rick Eirman down in Leonardtown, Ed Ellis can put you in contact. Rick still vends parts and may have an interest which would allow for a single sale and no shipping.

I would have liked to have found a T-Cab like that about 5 or 6 years ago. I would put a Hawk front end on it.

Sounds interesting, ....Hawk front end, truck cab and bed, lowered .... might have something going for it.

Wish the cab was closer for me but if you take the front axle apart, I could use the spacers between the king pin & steering knuckle. Sending those here would be a piece of cake! I want a cab (in any condition) to put on my 62 while I rebuild the one on it now so I can continue to use the truck, just in case anyone in So. Cal has one.

Warren, are you talking about the shims? I may have some here.

Warren Webb
10-25-2014, 03:00 PM
Yes. When I bought the axle that had the disc brakes on it, the axle itself was wider so I had to disassemble the knuckles & transfer them onto the axle on the 61 Champ. When I did that I didn't put the shims back in (stupid thing I can be) so there is slop in the kingpins.

Roscomacaw
10-25-2014, 03:02 PM
Any idea what the diameter of those kingpins are? I've got various pieces from Brand X kingpin kits and I might be able to come close (if not exact) to what you need.
