  • Interior: Bugaboo......arm rests !

    Went to install my newly refurbished arm rests for my '62 wagon. Funny, the mounting screws are different for the wagons vs. sedans....go figure....

      2 door cars have a different length from those on 4 doors & wagons.

        fronts on sedans/wagon = 12 x 24's

        rears on wagons 10 x 32's

          One other comment regarding these armrest screws. The threaded inserts in the door are exposed to atmosphere and moisture. Just like chasing threads anytime you remove bolts in an engine...it is good to run a tap through the armrest threads. It cleans them of rust and makes it much less likely you'll bind and cross-thread on installation.
