We had a beautiful day, and 207 entries at our annual show.

Our Stude numbers were down, but those that made it were nice:

Some of my other personal favorites, some really odd-ball cars, and several really nice motor cycles/scooters here:

Thanks for sharing. I must say, my pick of the litter would be the 60(?) Impala convertible. I am guessing that's probably a 348 CID motor in it.

I wish I had more time to take pics. I snapped some of the ones I liked as I moved around judging.

The attention to detail on the hearse is impeccable. Like you, I may have not done it that way, but it is impressive. I should have taken some pics of the inside. Just to give you an idea of the detail, the rear headliner is stainless steel, meticulously trimmed, shaped, and installed. Too many other neat things to describe, but it's a keeper!

I think you are correct. I didn't judge that class, so I didn't really get a close look at it. Even from a distance, I knew it was going to be a contender for Best of Show.

Did you judge the Volga or whatever that green thing is?

Yes, I judged Kermit. 'Can't remember the brand name, but it is a Russian built car. The grey thing next to it is his wife's car, again I can't remember its brand or origin, but it has a 2 cycle engine.

Both cars serve to prove that there is arse for every seat. <G>

'Looked up the show registration sheets for these cars:

Kermit is a Russian 1980 Moskvitch 412 IZH

Kermit's mate is a East German 1973 Trabant 601:
