I don't disbelieve you, Lou Anne, but I am confused. I saw two when I searched the for-sale-by-owners and one when I searched dealers.

      Here's one for Roy Valdez...

      http://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/pts/4682409536.html Bulletnose parts.

This looks like a very good deal...

I counted 42 tonight. (By the way, it's "Van" Anne)..."You're not much if you're not Dutch"...right Frank?

          Sorry about the name gaffe!

That's so weird how CL does that. I went to SF Craigslist, put "Studebaker" in the car search box and it came up with an Avanti, a '59 Lark and a GT Hawkl--that's it! Sure wish I knew why that happens sometimes. I've noticed discrepancies using Statewide Craigslist and Zoomthelist, too! That was a really pretty Prez, wasn't it?

On the bullet nose add what do those rear fenders go to? They look like 49-52 but with the front square cut???

Some of the fenders are for two door cars and the flat front rear fenders are for four door cars.

That President is a beautiful car. However, equipped with an automatic, I find his mileage claims to be a bit hard to believe. Still, looks like a truly beautiful car in need of very little. Wish I could afford it.

A little off topic, but to add to Lou and Franks posts, us VANs need to stick together! My name gets cut up, turned around and mutilated every which way you can think of. No big deal to me, but it is amusing sometimes. Best to all you other Vans out there, Bill Van Alstyne.
