Not running and asking $30,000, no mention of the brakes working or not, seems a little over priced to me.

30K seems high considering the work (and $$) it needs, but factory three speed with overdrive in a Golden Hawk always gets my attention!Comment

I think he did say the brakes have been gone through completely. When you look at it. Blow off the cob webs, touch up the frame paint, buy and install carpet and wiring harness, paint engine the correct color and finish assembling the car, that isn't all that much. The stainless in the trunk has been straightened and polished. This is the genuine article. The floors are like new. Three weeks work and maybe $1500 in parts and supercharger repair and it's done! Offer him $20,000. It does say offer. There's nothing in it for me. I have the money but I have three projects going now and work on other people's Studes.1936 Dictator

I can attest that the engine was completely rebuilt by a very thorough and reputable rebuilder in the area. I rebuilt my brothers Avanti R2 about the same time this engine was being done. If I'm not mistaken, the owner lived only a couple miles from me, but I never saw or knew him. Not a member of the local chapter.Comment
