  • Golden Hawk 2x4 intake?

If a guy needed a 2X4 Packard intake for his 352, what kind of ball park might they trade in?
I would not invest in a factory air cleaner & suspect aftermarket carbs would be cheaper...

A '55-'56 Packard Caribbean used dual quad intake (sans carbs, linkage, fuel lines, etc.) would have a really wide 'range' in price these days....Anywhere from $300 to $1000...and possibly more if a bidding war started!

On the one hand, a guy in NJ recently gave away a rebuilt '55 Caribbean engine complete with intake.

On the other hand, fleabay sellers have $1500 reserves on intakes.

One costs what it costs when and where you're buying.

And the carbs, lines and linkages can easily double the cost of the intake manifold itself. They're really a PITA to fabricate. Here's the one I did for my '55 E12.

I have seen the intakes go for $700 by themselves
