  • Brake drum paint

I did a search and couldn't find anything on this subject.
I'm cleaning up my finned brake drums and am ready to paint. I've been using a lot of POR 15 on the chassis parts- it's says it's good to 572 deg.

Will the drums get hotter than this? Should I use high heat paint?

    Thanks

the rattle can high heat is better than nothing but in my experience just doesn't hold up. I've never tried the POR products on brake drums but their reputation is outstanding in all other applications.
