'Sure hope they get a battery hold-down for it! BP
We've got to quit saying, "How stupid can you be?" Too many people are taking it as a challenge.

That's one pretty example! Wonder how close to the estimate it'll land?
No deceptive flags to prove I'm patriotic - no biblical BS to impress - just ME and Studebakers - as it should be.

Sure like that dash. I can hardly wait until my '57 is finished.

WOW!!! Now I understand the new tires it's wearing- this car has gone (roughly) 25000 miles since it's appearance in Special Interest Autos back in the July/August 1994 issue. You've seen it before- it's on the cover with the words "The Last Packard" next to the photo. In the 'specifications' section of the article it's body number is listed as '58L-7818'. I've always known that to be wrong. Now I know it's real body number!!!
A sidebar tells about how it rides/drives, and the comments are mostly good.

If I could go back in time- this is the color I would have ordered had I been ordering this car.

... wish i could do something about bringing her to NC... if it was around 5 years ago, i'd be booking a flight early next week, hit the ACD museum, maybe a side trip to "Mecca" (SB), and be all over her! another "thank you" to the "ex-Mrs. Corvanti", and health problems.

i'm with Mr. K and wonder what she will go for. the estimate seems a bit high.

of course, the deal breaker would be no battery hold down.

maybe another will come along in 6 to 9 months!

I think the estimate is low, and it'll go for close to $20K.

As for the battery hold down- they are overrated- especially in these cars. My Parkview hasn't had one for years. No problems. The cables keep it from drifting too far from home. And in the case of this car- that power steering pump will keep it from wandering into harm's way.
Early Larks are the ones you really gotta worry about.
