That was a custom dash plaque for the 1976 Eastern AOAI nationals in Niantic Ct. The Ct. chapter of the AOAI founded two years earlier planned coordinated and held the AOAI Eastern National that year. There was a Western AOAI national held concurrently. I have many fond memories of that meet. Bob Burke was our banquet speaker. It also marked the first appearance of the infamous porsche grill cut into the nose of a Studebaker Avanti.
