  • Recent purchase 63 Gt Hawk. R2 Flippy it

Finally, I got the car home today. Color of the car: Rose mist. Ven#63v8238. Rear end TT. Manual transmission Hurst Shifter. Has the correct carb for Super Charger. Has R1 Air filter and Valve covers. Someone stole the Super charger and brackets. I need to clean it up. Need to put diesel down the cylinders to get to turn. I could not turn by hand. Car setting since 1977. I got underneath the back end of the car and was shocked to see what looks like a new gas tank. Although, I think it is the original. I do not see any rust other than the deck lid. It is just starting its rusting. Still in good shape. I plan on flipping. Anyone have any questions, please PM. When I opened the deck lid, it the original floor matt. Car in Camino, Ca Car was purchased in Modesto, Ca in 1977. They just parked it.

Roy, sounds like you got a great deal going there. I wish I had the room for it. Still too many projects here and no garage yet.

        Roy,

Is the R2 waterpump manifold there?

So besides an engine rebuild, what else does it appear to need?
