1962 GT Hawk Assistance

I have a bracket for the battery. . . it is a single arm that attaches to the battery box and is attached to the body at the hinge for the hood, is it unfinished, it is body color, black, if black, matte, semi gloss or glossy?

Also I have refinished the jack, and just curious is the base of the jack black? It was a mess. . . smile, but it looks good. .

Nearest I could tell it was matte black. But that was with 50+ years of grime, heat and wear. I cleaned mine up and refinished it as matte black, at any rate.
