  • Need a quick measurement

I need to cut some spring isolators for my Avanti II front springs and I'm away from home. Can anyone give me the coil spring OD and ID? Or even better, the dimensions of the spring insulator? Thanks.

The 526249 full circle rubber spring pad has a 1/2" tapered lip on the inside to keep it centered, it is 3 13/16" I.D. at Top, 3 15/16 at Bottom I.D. and 5 9/16" O.D.

    They are now $8.25 each.

    Hope this helps, Rich.

Got a couple of sets cut on the laser from teflon, just to try. I'll let you know how they work out.

Good luck with that Jim! My thought is that although Teflon is tough and lasts longer, it's also more slippery not too good an idea! [:0]

We had trouble with the stock ones slipping on install, on our '64 Daytona with Standard springs, could be worse with H.D. Avanti springs AND ours even had the shoulder (lip) to keep them in place! [V]
