That's neat! But it's not $10K neat, at least not to this CASO.Paul

Not much weight on the rear wheels when nothing is on the hook. That must be exciting - a four wheel tandem burn out.Last edited by RadioRoy; 07-29-2014, 12:52 PM.RadioRoy, specializing in AM/FM conversions with auxiliary inputs for iPod/satellite/CD player. There's a lot to like about this truck. Zero to like enough to shell out the asking price (for me). There is some interesting features, neat mods, but enough sketchy features to make me suspicious. If I was asking ten grand for a vehicle, I'd be sure that the tires matched. Heck...I'd even put on half worn used tires, before I'd scramble four different styles like the ones on the back of this truck.
I could be mistaken, but the tag looks to be a Florida tag. Listing is in Nebraska. Is this guy a flipper? How did it get from Florida to Nebraska? If it is a recent purchase...why so quick to dump back in the market? Just a few questions that make me wonder what's wrong with it? There could be very legitimate and good answers to my concerns, but that's my take. Modern commercial diesel trucks run turbos with the gearing for interstate speeds. I've never owned a supercharged engine, and I know some of you have them. My question is what real value is a vintage supercharger on an old vintage truck geared for pulling and not much speed? My thinking is that if the truck still has its original transmission, the pulling strength is in the gearing and that supercharger could temp a person to punish and shorten the life of the engine. I would love to have comments and thoughts from some of you "real" mechanics on this subject.John Clary
