  • Brakes: Roll control torque specs

Is there a torque spec for the bolt that mounts the roll control to the back of the master cylinder on a 52 Land Cruiser.
    Thanks for the help.

I think you may be talking about the Wagner No-Roll Valve that Studebaker called the Hill Holder.
Tight should be good, I don't think Torque would be critical on that bolt.
The Shop Manual Torque Chart under Brakes, only shows the Backing Plate Bolts as critical enough to have a Torque Spec.

However what is important is that it has a GOOD Copper sealing washer under it and the Brass splitter Block.

    185164 Gasket, Screw to M/C, 39/64" Copper
    185165 Gasket, Valve 33/64" Copper

We ARE talking about a Car with a Manual Transmission with Hill Holder RIGHT?

NOT a Car with Automatic Transmission and a Anti Creep Valve?

It's a 3 speed manual, and I used new washers. It's back in and doesn't seem to be leaking. Thanks for the help.
