Spare tire mounting in trunk, 57 Commander

How is the spare mounted in the trunk of a 57 Commander with the jack, handle and base? A photo would be helpful.

1312816 Spring holds the jack to the floor per Group 1812 in the Chassis Parts Catalog.

All the other hold down parts are listed and Pictured in the Body Parts Catalog Plate 2169 on Pg. 200.

You do have them, right?

All i have is the wing nut and rod it screws onto. I only have a Chassis Parts Catalog.

Rich do you have a photo and/or a measurement of the spring? I have a spring that I found on the floor or in the trunk, don't know what it's for.

Funny but I don't have a clue where this spring would go if in fact it's the right spring.

From the sliding bumper fitting on the jack to the loop clip on the floor along the right fender line at the rear.

I'll be damned Rich, that's what the spring is for!! I've had it hanging on the wall for a year! Thanks Buddy. I got up out of bed and went to see if it fit there, sure enough.
