Excellent pix! Nice stuff on the field.

Thanks for posting the pics. There sure were lots of nice cars on the field and in the parking lots.

Was this car at the York swap meet several years ago?

If it is the same one, I was sorely tempted to drive it home from the meet. Had cash in hand, but was not sure it was a good candidate as a flipper. It is a well done custom sedan.

Super pictures. Thanks for sharing with those of us who missed being there.

Dave, I believe you are correct. I remember the car and think it was for sale at York a few years ago. Interesting car as it began life as a 2 door sedan, not a coupe. The workmanship, if I remember correctly, was very good.

              "Concourse day at Dover"

I couldn't resist after seeing this several times. A car show is a concours (short for Concours d'Elegance). A concourse is a large open area, like in an airport, or a crowd.

I did not make it to Dover this year but will be there next year for sure with my 39 2 door sedan. I have not seen another one but sure there are more like mine. Seen a coupe and 4 door but no two door sedan as yet.

Ken, the National Stude meet moves around to different locations across the country each year. Next year its somewhere up in the New England/Mass. area.

Next year's International is in St. Louis. 2016 International is in Warwick, RI, and 2017 should be in south Bend.

So- knowing that- has anyone heard if a bid was submitted for 2018?
It seems that if a Chapter was interested- they would'a done so in Dover, right?

                        2015 - St. Louis, MO
                        2016 - Warwick, RI
                        2017 - South Bend, IN
2018 - No actual "bid" in as of yet, but considering the Pacific North West (possibly Tacoma, WA)
2019 - MAYBE back in Dover, DE (?) - negotiations are under way

I'd be ready to do Dover again in '19. Great venue, and the DelMarVa folks did a bang up job!

I had a great time in Dover ( I especially enjoyed the Studebaker only tours), but to have two or three places all holding the International Meet every 5 years or so would mean that the number of cities available to hold IM's would be greatly reduced. South Bend every 5 years is understandable, but I am not sure abut anywhere else.
