Hello,
Does anyone have a photo of an Avanti kickdown rod for a powershift.
I seem to have misplaced mine or in fact never had one.
I would like to see what I'm looking for.
Is it anything like the kickdown rod off a Gt Hawk?
Thanks for your help.

Peter, you may want to read this string particularly Post #10 about the same rod on a different model, but relates to this.

Do NOT drive the Car without it.

I would think that either a Lark or a Hawk Throttle Pressure Linkage Rod could be length modified to work fine on an Avanti, if it's even not already the same length.

Thanks Gents.
Rob, as I suspected it doesn't look familiar.
Studerich, Thanks for the warning.
I guess I will have another look around the shed, no doubt it will be found (if I have one ) once a replacement has been purchased.
Rob does your rod need a new home?

The adjuster on the throttle pressure (kickdown) rod for the Studebaker Avanti is at the opposite end of the rod compared to a Lark or Hawk version. No doubt the Lark or Hawk rod would fit the Avanti, but access to this adjuster would be difficult or perhaps impossible once the Lark-Hawk rod is installed on an Avanti.

Thanks for the offer but it already has a loving home.
