  • What is it?

I have a couple of clips like this and I could only read part of the part number 28494.
    Does anyone recognize this clip.

A 284 is a pretty OLD Number so whatever it is, it started back around '46-'49 at least.

What is the size of the clip?? If 3/16" or so, looks like the clip in the door of my GT Hawk that hold in the Gran Turisimo logo on the door. Gordon

Sorry about that. The clip is 1" long and I am not sure if the missing digit is ahead or behind that number.
There are no 284 numbers so it maybe 128494.or 228494.etc.
It looks like a Tinnerman made product and I am not sure when Studebaker started using these.
It looks like a clip to hold a cable in.
