Replaced the dash insert & the chrome surround for the glass over the temp & gas gauges and the speedo/odom unit on a '63 Champ. Used the same guages/speedo with newer chrome surrounds and reinserted in the newer dash insert. Now after startup the guages go up in several short jumps until maxed out. Gas-guage stays at max with temp-guage returning to zero after key is turned off. The guages had worked fine until my efforts at this cosmetic upgrade. Help will be appreciated, please.
