Did Studebaker make any fuel injected GT Hawks? I've been told of one in my area that is factory installed. I have not seen it

    No...........

EDIT: Not fuel injected, but they may be confused by a supercharger which some 1963-1964 Hawks did use (R2).

Packard was working on it for 56, but shelved the idea....a couple prototypes have surfaced, or at least one. It's a safe bet that Stude might have been working on something along similar lines. We all should by now know to never say never when it comes to Studebaker.

Studebaker experimented with a number of different fuel injection setups from the mid '50's on. The only one that I know to be actually running on a vehicle that saw any street use was installed on an R2 Avanti. The car and the system went different ways and the FI system itself still survives.

If there was one,Andy Graniteli would probably have owned it.

I have a photo of part of the unit I took a few years ago. The owner says he has the entire unit somewhere.

Richard, that would be the one from the Avanti.
