Never thought I would see '60 Chrysler (I think) tail lights on a Stude. Very cool.

Looks pretty good, not sure I like it tho. I guess I was never a big fan of the tail fins anyways.

What is exiting on the rockers? the exhaust is clear as day coming out of the rear

Those are cutouts. Cops hated them. Used them for drag racing in the 60's.

That is a pretty cool custom. Maybe those cutouts are dummies. Not everything on a custom has to be functional, although I think one could possible build functioning cutouts in such a way that a "window" on the door bulge exposed them when the door was closed. Creative use of the original styling feature, for sure. Some people object when we pick apart bad customs here, but when you see a really good one, it's easy to see just what a huge gulf there is between the good and the bad.

I dig it. I like purple, too.

Yes, it's '50s-early-'60s style. But I couldn't take it as a gift; with that chopped top, I wouldn't be able to get inside or once inside, to see outside. My head already is against the roof in a standard C-cab and the windshield header blocks traffic lights.

Well, Jack - you should make it into a roadster pickup....

I think I sorta like this one. But not as much as the one I saw floating around FaceBook this past week!!!
