Tooling along Massachusetts Rt 24 (expressway) in the company truck last week, a most interesting thing happened. At a traffic merge point I look out the driver's side window and what has pulled up beside me but a beautiful 1951 Studebaker Champion convertible. This Champ no doubt had O/D, as the driver (who I didn't recognize) was doing an easy 65-70 MPH. Does anyone in the New England area know of this car? Specs: Completely stock, Surf Gray, new looking black convertible top, wide whites and full wheel covers. Rhode Island historic license plates. Followed alongside and behind him for miles. That guy was really DRIVING that Studey!!
