Hope you're sporting heavy duty front coils.[8D] Sorry, I had to put on the shades. There's more reflection there than I get off the top of my head.

        Pretty neat!
Interesting how region's have their influence on awards...
Seems that plaques are dominant down south (farther south than NC ).
Maybe because wall space is more available than shelf space?
        Dunno..
But I know that when I listed my last house for sale the realtor walked into my office and told me to immediately pack that stuff up and put it away, as buyers were not interested in it.
A lot of 'lookers' for the property ended up spending a lot of time 'looking' in the garage when they were being shown the place.
Maybe he was right... I haven't unpacked them yet[V]
(But, I have started the new and improved 'Georgia collection'[^])
Love the pic, really love the paint....

My thought was that alot of those awards were not from SDC Meets~ Which is a good thing, BTW~ get those cars out there for all to see, not just SDC!!!

I have as many (or more) from the last 15 years, and about 90% of them are plaques. Mine have mostly come from SDC Meets that were in three of the four corners of the Country...

Hmmmm... You've caused me to reflect...
(Now I am going to rip open those boxes and check)
Maybe it seems things go in cycles.
I have a 'few' of each and can tell you the plaques are easier to handle (before, during, and after a show)...
But upon reflection (about 16 oz. worth) I can say that the plaques are still in nice shape, and the trophies are all piled in a bunch of boxes. Trophy abuse?[B)] OK, I'm guilty.... Heck, I've given quite a few trophies away to lil' kids just for the fun of it.
Plaques are different. They keep better
I'll bet it's 75% TO 25% open show to SDC meet for me...
But that's probably because of the truck more than anything.
                Go figure...

                    Ken...
Make sure you save those (or at least save the pic's)...
Write the who/what/where on the bottom...
I'll tell you why 35 years from now
PS: You take way better pic's....

Congratulations on your car's awards and for you showing your car. When I moved in 1991, I discovered that I had four large cartons of trophies. The only one that I have out now is an SDC International First Place. Lately, I have been letting the trophies for a vehicle go with the car when I sell it. I figure that the vehicle earned the trophy. I still attend a lot of shows, but haven't had a vehicle judged in several years.
