  • Studebaker sighting in WA

Today I saw two Studebakers being towed through Monroe WA. I first spotted them heading south past Salem Woods elementary school. I turned around to follow for a while to see if they were stopping locally, but they were taken west on US 2 and then west on WA-522. The tow truck was a late 70's/early 80's Chevy or GMC with a roll-off bed, white with no commercial markings and a yellow light bar across the cab roof. The car on the bed was a Starlight coupe, 1951 I think. The other being towed behind the truck was a 1950 two-door sedan. Both had collector's plates, but only the Starlight looked drivable. The sedan didn't have any trim, headlights, bullet, or front bumper, and the tires were mismatched rollers.

    Does anyone recognize them?

I can think of a few Studes that may be headed in your direction in the near future,
but your sighting has them going the wrong way...
