Electrical: ´63 Avanti Power Windows

Hi,
I get mad with the power window engine, right side. left side works great, right side is blocked. it was possible to loosen the lower two screws of the gear, but how can I reach the upper one without cutting out the inner skin of the door (saw a picture on "Bobs" website)?
any ideas?

You could have a kink in the window track. There's a number of areas that need lubrication as well...the old lube could be dried and caked solid. Do you see a draw on the ammeter when you try the window? If so, the motor is getting current. If not, it's something else.
