  • Avanti A/C switch

The A/C switch in my 66 Avanti II needs replacing and I've found an NOS one on E-Bay. Are these switches avaiable from any Stude.vendors, if so who. If not [cause I don't want to pay too much] what are they worth? I've bought Stude. stuff before on E=bay only to find later that I could've gotten it from a vendor for less. I don't want to make that mistake again. Thanks,

If the switch you saw on eBay was in an eBay store, it isn't an air conditioner switch, but is a heater switch which was probably labeled "Air" and the seller took it to be an a/c switch. A NOS a/c switch will be a rotary switch with a rheostat.
You might try Ebon or Phil Jones at J & N Auto Air Warehouse in Harlingen, Texas. E-mail me and I'll give you their 800 number. They are old hands in Studebaker air conditioning.
