  • lark carburator

i need the correct model number for a carburator for a 1960 lark 6 cylinder 3 speed w/od. mine runs and idles good but runs much to rich. i have adjusted idle air mixture but still runs rich. in noticing in my documents from previous owner he had carb. kit installed at Myers in Ohio and was noted metering rods were worn. also would like to buy a new one or quality rebuild one. also i see much conversation about oil. i just changed from valvoline 15w40 to rotella t 30w. engine is much quieter but have small leaks which i did not have. also oil looks new after driving 140 miles to show and back. any thoughts. thanks for any imput.

The "AS" type carb is correct for your 60 flat head. Common to find rebuilt. Call Thiebault or Stephen Allen's.
