ID:	1743183 My daughter in laws new car. Its a puzzle. She has come over to the otherside so to speak. She wants to learn so she now has teachers. She started by installing the door handles. She pressure washed the inside. Was pushed and pulled by her Father-in-Law in the forklift back inside the shop. She helped me sort parts and clean them with 4aut steel wool. oh by the way anybody know where the info is on installing the dash pad? I have been looking but so far come up empty.
    Thank you

I got mine for Barney from SI. Page 69 of the current catalog, "Window 'U' Channels", p/n 800505, 5' length. Not cheap: $24.50 each.

I was able to find the U Channel at my local glass shop that does glass work on classic/custom cars. It comes in 9 foot lengths. I got two 9 ft pinces and a 9 ft length of "Cat whiskers" for about $65. Regular glass shops may have it too. Studebaker International has it in specific Studebaker applications.

Nice! My Conestoga had that same clunk noise the first time we pushed it around. Must be a Stude thing.

Uh... what kind of fire extinguisher was that? I'm not familiar with that nomenclature.

The drive line was turning hitting the underside of the car. I thought it was funny teasing her that she has a clunker. There was a fire extinguisher nearby he just didn't use it.

I thought I heard reference to an, "Okie fire extinguisher." Nothin' any handier than that!

                    Nice project!

Is "Cruizer" your "pet" name for a 1963 Studebaker Cruiser?

OK: what IS it with all of these 1963 Cruiser 4 door sedans coming out of the woodwork the last few years?

Truth is, this one "came out of the woodwork" in '09. In fact, I knew of it sitting in a chicken shed in the early 90s. I spoke several times with it's original owner - now deceased.
