If that's a Morocco brocade, it may have been correct in a '60 AMC but looks much better in your Hawk!Brad Johnson,

Thanks, all. As I have not yet seen this exact pattern on another Studebaker I kinda thought it might have been from another brand. No biggie as the car is a driver. In fact, the reason I brought this up was I that I recently came upon a nice looking pair of power bucket seats from a 2000 Chrysler Sebring Convertible (with the built in 3 point seat belts) and it got me thinking about that possibility....if I could find that fabric and dark red vinyl color for a reupholstery job on them. I suppose I could get another rear seat and do them both in black leather (and keep the originals in case I wanted to switch back)
i am not unhappy with the bench seat, of course, but the truth is, my almost 70 year old arse feels a lot more secure and comfy in a bucket seat with power adjustment and 3 pointers (and a console with a cup holder for my Metamucil).sigpic
