I talked to the owner, Ed--nice guy who had bought the Lark 15 years ago from an SDC member who has since passed on (last name Clemons). Ed says he has the documentation showing it has only 49,000 miles. It sat a number of years and so had some rust issues. Ed says he used Mar-Glass in a few spots, the one being most worrisome in my eyes was on the driver floor near the door. But he says the frame is clean. Trunk needs some repair. Paint job is amateur (note over spray on passenger side rear tire) but presentable. Tires are bias plys from way back. Headliner intact, new carpet. Doors need kick panels. Seats are original and intact. 259 and Flightomatic run out fine. He starts and runs it regularly. Rear springs mebbe need replacing. Price seems kinda high to me, even with fresh paint and bright work, but could be a nice round-towner!
