Rear Axle: Rambler Dana 44

American Motors supposedly used a Dana 44 tapered axle rear end in their Ramblers. Will the hubs and drums work on the 61 Studebaker Hawks??

Not likely, for one thing most are not Model 44's, but the larger issue is they have a poorly designed "splined" hub that strips out, and no they will not fit.
