  • HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO LEN SHEPHERD !!! Forum alumnus ; Please share your wishes!

Len Shepherd joined this forum in August of 2005; back when we only had twenty or thirty members, if that!
Over the years he hugely enriched our experience here. His knowledge of Studebakers, gentle giant nature and a photo library that could never be stumped for an application to answer a question, hugely enhanced the appeal of this forum and, no doubt, attracted many a non Stude owner in to the fold.
Getting to spend time with him at our swap meets has been a joy.

In the winter of 2010 he suffered a stroke and, while he can no longer participate and is in an assisted care facility, I understand he is fully aware that we miss him.

Leonard will be turning 69 this April 13, 2014!

Cards and wishes from those who know him, and those who wish they had, can be sent c/o his son Wes.

Leonard Shepherd, c/o Wes , 33 Pickett Ct., Blackstone, VA 23824

Keep those cards and letters coming!

Everything he ever posted can be accessed through his forum profile. http://forum.studebakerdriversclub.c...php?710-lstude
I believe this may have been the last thread he initiated and posted in: http://forum.studebakerdriversclub.c...-Mandy-Wedding

            Happy birthday leonard!!!
No deceptive flags to prove I'm patriotic - no biblical BS to impress - just ME and Studebakers - as it should be.

Don't know if he will see this or not.

                  Best to send a card.

'Card being sent, and greetings here, too, Leonard, for a hap, hap, happy one! You'll be glad to know the 1964 Daytona convertible finally got its much-needed new master cylinder before being placed in storage last fall. BP
We've got to quit saying, "How stupid can you be?" Too many people are taking it as a challenge.

Happy birthday Mr Shepherd...just for fun here's a shot of my '65 Commander, which, like your trademark '52, is blue but has one primered fender...or rather three!
