  • Sanden 508 AC compressor

Putting AC on my 289 motor. Who has the best price on Saden 508 Compressor. Using V Belt and 134.

Sanden 508 is a good choice; minimal vibration and power draw.
I lucked out and got mine for free.
You still have one day 23 hours for one on ebay currently at $99.99.

Sanden SD7 series compressors are even smaller if space or mounting is a concern. A parallel flow condensor should also be used for best results. (unless you remain using R12)

You should be able to find them most anywhere @ about $120, maybe a bit more if you're going to run a serpentine belt instead of a V-belt. Also look for Sanyo 508, which was once the name.

Be careful of the Ebay compressors that are around $100. If you look closely it says Sanden "style" compressor. They are noisy and only last about a year. The 507 compressor is smaller cubic inches and won't work as well in a full size car.
