  • Exhaust: Flathead six exhaust header

Does anyone know where I could get an exhaust header--either cast-iron or tubular steel--for a flathead six? It's not like I think I'm going to build a racing engine or anything. It's just to add visual interest to an engine with a finned aluminum head and dual carbs--just eye-candy, really.

    Any leads will be appreciated.

This question comes up from time to time. I don't know of anyone building any split manifolds for sale at this time. Some members have built their own tube headers.

Do you need one for a Champion six or a Commander six?

Look in the search function and there have been some discussions regarding a chap in Australia who made one for his 51 Champion.
