My grandpa just gave me a 1927 Studebaker Doctors coupe, it will actually run (but not far or fast) and is in fair condition. I would like to restore it but I don't even know where to start, and don't have the extreme financials needed to have it completed restored in one sitting. I would love any feed back possible. I live in Carlsbad, California the vehicle is located in Phelan, California. I'm very excited to be able to have a classic car I'd like to get it fixed up. Thank you for any responses.

Hi Finkgal, and welcome to Studedom! There's a lot of knowledge here on the Forum, so don't be afraid to ask questions - everyone's glad to help..
Also, I'm in Oceanside, and we have an active San Diego SDC chapter that meets in Allied Gardens on the 2nd Thursday of every month. We'd love you to join us! The chapter website has directions and dates; it's the 2nd link in my signature.
Again, welcome!
