Isn't there a Prowler forum for this stuff?

EssexExport; Read post 1022 in my performance thread.

Chris Pile I am glad he is sharing this with us. Isn't that what the Stove Huggers forum is all about none Studebaker autos.

I love the Prowler, but I do wish Chrysler had put a V8 into it...

Sure Chris: two as a matter of fact. In addition, I'm 1/3 owner of a Face Book page dedicated to the car.

Since I got my Golden Hawk on 8-29-13, here's a rough breakdown of videos on my You Tube channel:

              Golden Hawk only: 4
With other Studebakers (mind you I've only been to two meets): 2
              Both my cars: 4
              Prowler only: 1
              With other Prowlers: 3
              General car videos: 6
              Chrysler Letter Series: 1

Say, any questions about the Prowler & I'd be more than happy to answer them.

Why didn't they offer it with the Hemi?

From what I know the concept car came out in '93. Production started in '97. The also had a concept car called the Howler that had the Jeep 4.7 V-8 (now that would've been a nice package). Corporate & design shortsightedness I'd say.

The new hemi was introduced in 2003. The Howler concept came out in 1999.
